i've crafted a magic pyrite war mace

i had less than 50 magery when i did it, besides, weapons aren't supposed to be magic items!

my question: is it a bug?

Pyrite get always magic stuff, but isnt better than a normal one.

Rocky, as a noob i can't afford to buy PMs, and i'm training BS.
So, if a pyrite chainmail set gives me more AR than normal PM, i will craft with it until i can get something better.
(if you have something to do about it, you are welcome )

if i remember correctly it gives automatic nightvision - using this item gives u always daylight

When u craft pyrite weapons it always say that are magical, since i can remember this always have been like this, must be remains of an old wepon system, but actually dont work so this weapons make regular damage.
On the other side if u craft a platemail armor u get a magical power that is nightsight like anna said, wich have the same effect as the spell but continuosly while u wear the armor. U can check the powers of each ore on the library.
